The ‘Paint The Town Proud’ heritage initiative is providing a cross-generational and extensive programme of visual artwork and impactful multimedia that combines creative technologies such as digital design and photography alongside community-led murals and street art.

About the project
A man is walking down a sidewalk in front of a large mural of a pink teddy bear on a beach.

The Brew Stop is a family owned café, situated on the beautiful Cleethorpes sea front.

The 'Meggies, a line runs through it' mural can be found on the side of the building and is a celebration of Cleethorpes' unique positioning upon the meridian line, and a nod to both our nautical and seaside heritage connected to our town.

This is reflected within the choice of imagery and design style, which was initially developed by researching sailor tattoos and their meaning.
